PrestaShop Setup Guide

This is a step by step guide to integrating Nochex with your PrestaShop website.

Important

Customers are always recommended to back up their code before making any significant changes, such as the ones detailed in this document.

PrestaShop 1.7 & 8 Installation Instructions​

  1. Firstly, make sure you have downloaded the module files located here.

  2. Next, login to your PrestaShop admin page.

  3. Select Modules > Module Manager

  1. Select the Upload a module

  1. Either browse for the nochexapc.zip file that you have downloaded by pressing select file and click open when you have found it or Drag and Drop your nochexapc.zip into the white dotted square.

  2. Once you have uploaded and installed the module file, press configure.

  3. Now fill out the necessary information in the fields:

  • (Required field) Nochex Merchant ID/ Email Address: This is your Nochex Merchant ID email address e.g. test@test.com or a Nochex ID e.g. test_ID.
  • (Optional field) Test Mode: This is an option to test that the module/system works. Note: Leave unselected if you want to make live transactions.
  • (Optional field) Hide Billing Details: This is an option if you choose to hide billing details.
  • (Optional field) Debug: This option allows the module to record information about the module and orders details, which can be used for detecting problems with the module.
  • (Optional field) Detailed Product Information: This option allows the module to add a detailed product list to your Nochex payment page.
  • (Optional field) Postage: This option allows the module to display the postage amount on your Nochex payment page.

  1. Once the details have been entered, select the save button.

  2. Finally go through your shopping cart and checkout process to test that the Nochex module is working correctly as well as orders showing correctly.

PrestaShop 1.6 Installation Instructions​

  1. Firstly, make sure you have downloaded the module files located here.

  2. Next, login to your PrestaShop admin page.

  3. Select Modules and Services > Modules and Services

  1. Select the Add a new module

  1. Either browse for the nochexapc.zip file that you have downloaded by pressing Choose a file and click Upload this module when you have found it or Drag and Drop your nochexapc.zip into the white dotted square.

  2. Once you have uploaded and installed the module file, press configure.

  3. Now fill out the necessary information in the fields:

  • (Required field) Nochex Merchant ID/ Email Address: This is your Nochex Merchant ID email address e.g. test@test.com or a Nochex ID e.g. test_ID.
